Contact me

Reach out to me using the form on this page expressing interest in a custom piece! If you can reference pieces of my work, that you’ve been inspired by, this is a great place to start the conversation.

01

Prep work

A survey will begin the conversation about your desired piece. You will then submit a well-lighted and clear photograph of the space where you will be hanging the painting along with images of the decor in the room. Including art that you love will make the process much smoother.

02

Initial Sketches

After our discussion, I will create some sketches on paper depicting a few variations of potential pieces providing impressions of the colors and composition of your future painting.

03

Contracts

You will receive a contract with overview of the artwork and outlining logistics and timeframe. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required prior to the start of painting the finished work.

04

the fun part

After the contract is signed, deposit is made and you’ve given me feedback on the sketches, I get to painting! You will be kept up to date on the progress of the piece as I create it.

on commissions

  • Art painted on commission is priced at $3.00 a square inch.

  • All of my paintings on canvas are shipped in sturdy protective packaging. Unless otherwise agreed upon, my paintings are shipped to you stretched on the canvas. Currently, I do not ship canvas paintings rolled in tubes. You won’t have to restretch the painting (trust me, I’ve been painting for years and if I dislike stretching canvas, I’m sure not going to expect my collectors to do it.)

In Eastern Massachusetts, paintings up to 40 x 50 will be delivered for a simple $75 charge.

I will send you a shipping quote with your contract. Please understand that shipping fees for larger paintings (40” x 60”) can be over $400. The weight and dimensions affect the shipping price - but then again, you don’t have to stretch the canvas - or hire someone to.

  • Commissions do not include framing.
